Q: I am interested in obtaining trade data in metric tons for commodities at the 5 digit code level.

A: In general, almost all countries report net weight and the supplementary quantity for at least some of their data. If a country reports more than one supplementary quantity, only one will be selected.

Quantity data are available only when reported by the country and we can convert them into our standard units. The majority of commodities contain value and volume data. For detailed information, please refer to the latest UN Comtrade Quantity Report attached.
