Sign-in with your email address #

1. Go to https://comtrade.un.org/
2. Click on Login on the top right.
3. Click on link Sign-up now
4. Enter a valid email address and click on Send verification code.
5. Check your inbox for the verification code. You should receive an email with the subject, “United Nations B2C account email verification code”.
6. Copy and paste the code on the screen. Click on Verify to complete the email verification.
7. Once verified, provide the following
   • Password
   • Display Name
   • Given Name
   • Surname
   • Organization Code (not used at this time)
8. Click Create
9. Once you have completed the steps and successfully created your account, you will be immediately logged into the UN Comtrade site. On the top right, you should see My Comtrade available. Free users will see “My Comtrade Free”. Premium users will see “My Comtrade Premium”.
10. You will receive an error message if:
    • User name is blank
    • Password is blank
    • Incorrect user name or password

Sign in with your social account #

Users who choose to sign-on using their existing google account or United Nations (@un.org) can click on either the buttons for Gmail account or @un.org account.

For @un.org users, please click on the @un.org account option. You will be directed to the UN enterprise login page. Your un.org email and password immediately gives you premium access to the UN Comtrade database.

For Google account users, please click on the Google account option and login with your existing Gmail account and password.

Please be informed that we are still in the process of adding other identity providers.

Important note: Kindly ensure that you use the same login option each time you log in to UN Comtrade.
